TrainOnline LMS 1.4 Released
MdA Business Communications AG is proud to announce a new major release of the TrainOnline LMS.
Please take your time to study some of the new features you will be provided with this new release:
- New language handling:
- From now on, it is only necessary to enter at least one language for course titles instead of all supported languages.
- Complete Language Fallback. If a title is not available in the language, the user is logged in, then the title will be displayed in the “preferred language” (which is customizable in the settings tab). If it is still not available, the title is displayed in the first available language.
- New language version: Simplified Chinese. Both the backend and the frontend were translated to simplified Chinese.
- New role: The Tutor. A learner now can be assigned a tutor role. A tutor can start courses, like any other learner, but if he is assigned to one or more learner groups, he can review reports on all other learners in his learner group.
- Open Registration password: It now is possible for the admin to assign a password to courses that are open for registration. In this case learners can only register with this registration password.
- Accept disclaimer: If the admin chooses so, he can require his users to accept a disclaimer on their very first login.
- Expiry date: A course can now have an expiry date. If it is set, the course cannot be started after that date. It is still visible for reporting.
These are only the most visible new features. At the same time, we worked hard in the background, to provide you with the most modern, secure, robust and stable LMS.
