Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor

Every company whose activities include the transport of dangerous goods, regardless of the means of transport, or the loading, offloading, filling or packing of dangerous goods, must appoint a Dangerous Goods Officer (internal/external).

The Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor is responsible for minimizing the risks to persons, property and the environment that can arise as a result of transportation of dangerous goods and thus help preventing accidents.
He or she must hold a valid qualification and be registered with the authorities.

    Laboratory Chemicals

    Chem. Kit UN 3316 / HGC 9 / liquid or solid

    N 3316: This UN entry stands for small test kits containing dangerous goods. Usually for analytic purposes. This can also be e.g. first aid kits when containing dangerous substances.

    The maximum allowed quantity for a test kit is 1 Liter or 1 kilogram ( inner packaging max. 250 g or 250 ml.). The packaing group chosen shall be the more restrictive possible covering the highest risk in the whole compound.

    The compliance to the transport regulations defined on ADR special instruction no 251 and packaging instructions P901.
